Here’s a snapshot of our proximity to some popular destinations

  • Bluefields Beach is just six miles away
  • Savanna la Mar, Parish Capital of Westmoreland, is approximately 12.5 miles from our retreat
  • Montego Bay Airport is 32 miles away, approximately a one-and-a-half hour drive
  • Negril: A scenic 24-mile drive taking you to the famed Negril beaches in 45 minutes to an hour
  • Kingston Airport: Not recommended but, if you choose to fly into Kingston, our retreat is 124 miles away, approximately a five to six hour drive

To ensure a stress-free start to your vacation, you can opt for our private airport transport; this not only allows you to relax from the moment you exit customs, but also supports the local community of Kentucky. Simply let us know and we will arrange your booking with our licensed red-plate driver.

Food and shopping

If you are looking for dining options beyond our retreat, we are happy to provide some suggestions. We can also give you details of grocery stores and arrange transportation for you if you wish. We encourage our guests to support the small businesses of Kentucky – ask us for more details. 

WiFi and calls
We have WiFi and mobile service in the area is good.

Laundry
We will wash, dry and fold your laundry for US$15 per load. 

Climate
While the tropical climate ensures warmth during the day, it can get cool and breezy at night, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or sweatshirt and lightweight trousers. Our cabins are naturally ventilated, so do not have air conditioning.

Credit cards
Unfortunately, at this time, we do not accept credit cards. However, both Jamaican and US Dollars are accepted forms of payment. We also accept PayPal, ApplePay, Zelle and Cash App.
